With the birth of our first child, I built a crib hoping that someday his children and grandchildren will use.
Made with red oak, the ends are made from 8/4 lumber and the slats from 4/4 lumber.
The side rails are made from 5/4 stock and 4/4 for the slats.
The design was my own and adheres to the federal child safety guidlines
for safe cribs.
I built this shelf about a month later to go with the crib.
